I’ve written before on this blog about taking pictures so that you can declutter sentimental items.
We recently had a pile of books but some of these were very well-loved so I decided to arrange them in the shape of a heart to look cuter for the pic 🙂
It was very easy to “execute”:
- I looked for good light when I got home from work one day.
- I drew a heart shape with chalk on our tiles.
- Arranged the books
- Pulled up a chair to stand on and took a few pics.
doesn’t it look pretty? |
see the chalk line? |
a happy girl when she got up on the chair and realised it was a heart shape |
more chalk |
they LOVED these books so much and used to randomly tell me “shhh, the cow is sleeping” … 🙂 |
Great post, I so have to do this! Thanks for sharing.
What a great idea, it is always so hard to get ride of those well loved items.
exactly and this way you can print these little pics and put in an album instead of storing boxes of books/ toys 🙂
That’s very cute. I have done that. I don’t do it as often though – I need to make more effort with it!
