Use binder rings for birthday cards

Some of you will know that I love, love, LOVE binder rings.

I use them for their intended purpose, mini scrapbooks, to hold my calendar in place, to keep my handbags on the hanger rail, for the kids’ name tags on their backpacks and also for cards.

I’ve done the kids’ birthday cards in little binder ring books for the last three years. It’s such an easy and very quick way to keep them all neat, organised and accessible.

My children love to look through the cards for a few weeks after I take all their birthday cards down.

Simply punch all the cards (I don’t even measure – I like the random look of them), insert binder rings and if you want to get fancy, tie a ribbon around one or both of the rings. The ribbon below was actually attached to the cards which were attached to the gift bags and I wanted to remember that extra touch too.

Do you keep birthday cards?

How do you store them?
