{Mission} Declutter physical books

One of my goals for the past couple of years has been to declutter my physical books by reading and then passing them on.

It’s far too easy to just buy Kindle books (one-click purchasing, anyone?) and not bother to get through the physical books on the bookshelf.

I first got my original 7 shelves of books down to 4 shelves by selling some, giving some away and donating some.

Remember my goal is to only keep books that are an 8 or a 9 out of 10.

Last year I did really well and read 20 physical books out of 67 books total. Two were gifted to me though so only 18 went from my bookshelf.

I checked on the weekend and I see I only have 7 physical FICTION books left – yay! This year, I’ll definitely get through all of those but I also want to see if I can get to 20 again (stretch goal 24).

Regardless, my goal is to get those 4 shelves down to 3 total. I can certainly let go of some of the older non-fiction books.

Do you prefer reading physical or e-books?

How many books do you have on your bookshelf?
